 16-year-old John Ogunjobi is the latest Nigerian boy to be killed in the UK. The teen was stabbed to death in Lambeth, south London on Monday but has only just been named by police as a murder investigation continues into the death. Ogunjobi was found unconscious on Grenleaf Close, Tulse Hill at 22:53 GMT and died shortly after. So far, no arrests have been made and enquiries continue. Police were initially called to Greenleaf Close on Monday, November 5 to reports of a shooting. Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and found a 16-year-old boy collapsed in the street with stab injuries. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the male was pronounced dead at the scene at 23:41hrs. A post-mortem examination held on Thursday, November 8 at Greenwich Mortuary gave cause of death as a stab wound. South African Minister of Police, Bheki Cele, said 20,336 murders were recorded in the country from 2017 to 2018 period saying “South Africa is close to being a war zone”. Presenting the statistics, Cele said: “never again can we come here to give such statistics. It cannot be that South Africans are put under such fear, such stress and such murder”. He said murders of women and children had also increased. Cele also said rape was up 0.5 per cent, with 40,035 recorded instances compared to 39,828 in 2017. South Africa is known internationally for its violent crime, but annual statistics are often disputed, especially rape figures. 19,016 murders were recorded between April 2016 to March 2017.

A woman shocked tourists when she stepped out of a public toilet completely naked. The woman had no clothes on, not even underwear as she wandered across a promenade in Barcelona, Spain. Stunned families watched her before she was forced back into the toilet by a shirtless man who stepped out of the same toilet after her. The naked woman forcefully resisted as the man pushed her back in then locked the door before he stood guard outside to make sure she doesn't emerge. The footage was filmed in the Raval district which has apparently become notorious for anti-social behaviour. There is speculation the woman may have been the victim of a sexual assault, though this has not been verified. One local is reported to have said the woman is well known in the area as having mental health problems.

Jair Bolsonaro , a far-right candidate in Brazil 's upcoming presidential election, was stabbed on Thursday, during a campaign rally in the southern city of Juiz de Fora. The dramatic knife attack was caught on video and shared on social media. The politician survived but was seriously injured and underwent surgery. Bolsonaro was being led through a crowd in Juiz de Fora city, in the southern state of Minas Gerais, when the attacker stabbed him from the front. As the suspect attempted to escape through the crowd, he was caught and received the beating of his life before they headed him to the Police. While the politician was rushed to a hospital where he underwent a surgery after he was seriously injured. In a press conference at the hospital, a surgeon said Bolsonaro suffered injuries to an abdominal vein, the colon and the large intestine. The operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested three one-chance operators on the Third Mainland Bridge.  The robbers, John Akinyemi , 27; Paul Oliseh, 37 and Amos Williams , 12, were arrested on Monday afternoon on the Third Mainland bridge after a chase by the Rapid Response Squad patrol team monitoring Iyana-Oworo. The policemen after being informed that the one-chance robbers were operating around the area, chased the bus, a Volkwagen Transporter with the registration number, AKD 562 XP to the bridge. The robbers, after being double-crossed by the officers on the Third Mainland Bridge, abandoned their vehicle and were fleeing on foot when they were arrested. One of the robbers, who was later identified as Junior, 19, was reportedly hit by speeding vehicles twice on the bridge before jumping off into the Lagoon with the gang’s loot. Security officials in Yemen confirm that a boat carrying at least 150 African migrants has capsized off a southern province, killing at least 30 people including five women and children. The officials said on Tuesday that the boat capsized on Sunday off the coast of Shabwa province. They say most of the passengers were Somali migrants. The narrow waters between the Horn of Africa and Yemen have been a popular migration route despite Yemen’s ongoing conflict. Migrants try to make their way to oil-rich Gulf countries.  The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to brief the media.

At least 300 people were injured after a wooden platform collapsed at a music festival in Spain on Sunday night. According to the local police and a spokesperson for Xunta Galicia's health department, one person suffered serious injuries. The incident happened at around midnight during an outdoor concert on the final evening of O Marisquiño, a three-day culture and sports event in Vigo on Spain's northwest coast. Dozens of people were trapped or fell into the sea after the platform, which was part of the existing harbor structure, collapsed. In a statement Monday, the organizers of the festival said that they "deeply regret the accident" and that the area in question has been sealed off to allow experts to determine the cause of the collapse. A Nigerian mother is crying out after her father-in-law raped all three of her daughters she left in his care. The devastated mother said she decided to leave her daughters, aged 5, 7, and 9, with their grandfather since holiday lessons haven't started yet. But she came home from work to see them all crying. When she asked what was wrong, they told her "grandpa was climbing them one by one". The children were taken to the hospital where doctors revealed that her eldest daughter may never be able to have kids because her reproductive organs have been damaged. It was also revealed that the grandfather was almost killed by his son - the children's father - when he found out what he had done. The randy old man has now been locked up in jail. A screenshot of the mother's SOS message was shared by activist Esther Ijiwere, who is now warning mothers not to trust anyone at all with their kids.

The woman, in yellow, is seen attacking a male passenger because he refused to give up his seat for her. In the video, the woman is seen as she drags the man from his seat, then when he refuses to let her have his seat, she then proceeds to sit on his lap. "Get off of me," the man warns. "Make me!" she tosses back at him and continued sitting on his lap. She then stands and says, "You're supposed to have some respect for women." She continues to attack him verbally and physically. When the man didn't rise to the bait, she picks a magazine, believed to be the one he had been reading before she attacked him, and she throws it in his face. A 20-year-old woman confessed to killing four people between December last year and last week after she was arrested by police operatives attached to Ilasa Division, Lagos. Mariam Abiola on Monday said she joined the Eiye confraternity after fleeing from her parent’s home at Abeokuta, Ogun State. She told reporters she usually wore white Jalabilia and hijab to hide the gun when going to assassinate her targets. According to her, she was an armourer and an executioner for the cult group. The death toll in Gaza stands at 43, after thousands of protesters were shot with live ammunition, rubber bullets and gas bombs over the course of the day, making it the bloodiest day since the 2014 Gaza War.
