Chelsea star Matt Miazga mocks height of Mexico's Diego Lainez during friendly match (Video)

There was a little drama as the United States took on Mexico in a friendly match which took place at Nissan Stadium in Tennessee last night.

Chelsea and American defender Matt Miazga, who is currently on loan at Nantes stirred up tensions by mocking the height of Mexican Diego Lainez during the friendly match.

6ft 4in Miazga embarrassed 5ft 6in 18-year-old Mexican on the pitch before both sets of players waded in to defend their team-mates during the clash.

Speaking to reporters after the match, Miazga looked to play down the clash: 'It's normal. We talked a little smack. It's part of the game. It's mental warfare.'

The game later ended 1 - 0 in favour of USA against Mexico.
