Rambo 5 releases its official plot details and it sounds violent as hell

Here's something that might be a surprise. In the very first Rambo film, First Blood, John Rambo only kills one person.

When everyone's favourite Vietnam vet returned for the sequel, the thirst for blood escalated as he killed 75 people. Yikes! That's some jump on the bodycount.

Rather than chill out, Stallone's character upped the ante in Rambo III with a staggering 115 fatalities. This paled in comparison though to the carnage that unfolded in the fourth film, John Rambo, as he practically turned into Ares, the Greek god of war. 254 kills, Christ almighty!

A few days ago, Stallone announced that he will be returning for a fifth film in the franchise and Screen Daily have revealed the plot for the as-yet-untitled Rambo 5.

The film starts with Rambo living on a ranch in Arizona, “deeply troubled and wrestling with PTSD as he picks up casual work wherever he can. When long-time family friend and estate manager Maria informs Rambo that her grand-daughter has gone missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, he sets off with her to find the youngster."

“What ensues is a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring. He teams up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped and must deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord.”

The film starts production this September with filming taking place in London, Bulgaria, and the Canary Islands.

If the body count continues to rise, we expect John Rambo to wipe our more people than Thanos during Avengers: Infinity War.
