President to celebrate sallah in Daura

President Muhammadu Buhari will join other Muslims for this year’s Eid-el-Kabir prayers in his native home, Daura, in Katsina State.

Our correspondent learnt yesterday that President Buhari will depart for Daura today after observing the jumaat prayers at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa mosque.
The president’s advance team, comprising security operatives, protocol officials and journalists are already in Katsina.
It would be recalled that the president also last year observed Eid-el-Kabir prayer at Kofar-Arewa Eid Ground after which he and the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouq slaughtered their rams.
