Some things in life are just inherently funny - dogs in sunglasses, farting, that kind of thing. You can't help but laugh, even when you know it's lowbrow, crass or just downright stupid.

Words are no exception. There are some words that, regardless of their definition, just sound hilarious, so we rounded a few of them up for you! They say the beauty of English is the power of expression, I reckon it's because once upon a time people legitimately referred to stomach pain as 'collywobbles'.
